We want you to have a wonderful time during your vacation on West Galveston Island. At the same time Parker Dalton McGarr LLC is serious about maintaining a peaceful family atmosphere for your enjoyment as well as the enjoyment of all the people in the neighborhood. We are also committed to informing you about local laws. Please read the following carefully.
The most enjoyable vacations are those that are worry free. Make the most of your vacation by taking the same precautions that you do at home: keep your vacation home and cars locked at all times and safeguard your keys.
I agree that I and all of my guests understand and will abide by these subdivision, city and state laws:
- House occupancy will not be exceeded
- Loud music and noise is prohibited
- All cars and guests will be registered with Parker Dalton McGarr LLC prior to arrival. A maximum of 4 cars will be parked in the driveway. Cars will not be parked in the grass, on the lawns, in a neighbor’s driveway, or where vehicular traffic will be impeded.
- Motor homes, campers and tents are prohibited and may not be parked or hooked up at rental homes.
- Barbeque grilling on decks is prohibited and a fire hazard.
- This home is NON SMOKING.
- Garbage will be put in securely tied plastic bags and placed in the trash can provided. Please take trash cart to curb on Mondays by 7 am. Trash is generally picked up by 9 am. Please return cart to storage spot under the house, next to the outdoor shower.
- In the case of evacuation, the decision to re-enter the house is solely that of Parker Dalton McGarr LLC.
- Seaweed can’t be relocated on the beach without a permit. However, clearing a pathway to the water with a hand rake is allowed.
THE BEACHES
- Pointe San Luis beach is a pedestrian beach- no vehicles allowed, including golf carts.
- The dunes are off limits at all times. Walking, digging, standing or driving on dunes is never allowed. Dune crossovers or beach access points will be used to get to the beach. Fines range up to $10,000.
- The dunes are home to various island wildlife including snakes (i.e. rattlesnakes) and raccoons. Please use caution.
- Open fires and fireworks are prohibited everywhere on Galveston Island, including the beaches.
- Glass containers are not allowed on Galveston beaches.
- All trash must be removed from the beach.
